1.1. This Privacy Policy governs the collection, processing, and protection of Personal Data of Users of the SMDP LLC Platform.

1.2. By registering on the Platform, the User voluntarily gives their informed consent to the processing of their data in accordance with this Policy.

2. Data We Collect

2.1. We collect exclusively profile (registration) data voluntarily provided by the User:

• First and Last Name (or pseudonym);
• Email address;
• Mobile phone number;
• City of residence and country;
• Date of birth, to confirm the User is aged 21 or over.

3. Purposes of Processing

• User identification within the system;
• Communication regarding the placement and execution of exchange orders;
• Prevention of fraudulent activities and enforcement of Platform rules.

4. Data Storage and Deletion

4.1. Personal Data is stored for the entire duration of the User’s account existence.

4.2. When the User initiates the account deletion procedure, personal data is anonymised: the name is replaced with an impersonal label, the email address is obfuscated, and the phone number is erased. Reviews written by the User remain on the Platform without attribution, as they form part of another User’s public track record.

5. Disclosure to Third Parties

5.1. We do not transfer your data to third parties, except as required by the laws of the UAE or the User’s country of residence, or upon official requests from authorized government authorities.

5.2. Contact details of one User are disclosed to another User only after a request on a listing has been accepted, and only to that specific counterparty.

6. Data Security

6.1. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect Personal Data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
